Dr John began his academic journey with an undergraduate degree in Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine straight out of high school, followed by a Master of Science achieved through thesis research. Concurrently, he served as a university academic tutor in a casual capacity. Transitioning into the field of dentistry after two years of practice in Chinese medicine, he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Western Australia. Since then, Dr John has pursued a career as a general dentist, also dedicating his time to volunteering with Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA), offering free dental services to underserved communities.

Areas of his professional focus include dentures, root canal treatments, and orthodontics. Beyond dentistry, Dr John finds enjoyment in reading books and listening to classical music.
