Under the Medicare Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS), the Australian Government provides up to $1052 in dental benefits for children between the ages of 0-17. CDBS covers basic dental services across a period of over 2 calendar years, helping make dental care more accessible and affordable to eligible children. All independent dentists at Primary Dental provide dental services under the medicare CDBS and are committed to providing quality dental care that can help eligible families.

Is your child eligible for free kids dental?

If you receive a Government Benefit such as Family Tax Benefit Part A or other eligible payments from the government including: Youth Allowance ABSTUDY Disability Support Pension Parenting Payment Special Benefit Carer Payment Double Orphan Pension Veterans Children Education Scheme your child may qualify for the CDBS. You can check if your child is eligible for CDBS by calling Medicare on 132011 or you can just ring one of our centres and our friendly reception staff can check this for you. an check this by calling Medicare on 132 011

What’s included?

Your child’s routine checkup and clean plus (in most cases) other general dental services
including: X-Rays, fillings, fissure seals, root canals, extractions and more
