A personalised treatment plan is created, including the number of aligner sets required, an estimated treatment timeframe and a clear explanation of each stage of your treatment.
Your first set of aligners is fitted and you receive detailed instructions on wear time, cleaning, eating and day-to-day management. Aligners should be worn for 20 to 22 hours per day for best results.
Regular check-up appointments are scheduled to monitor progress and move you through your aligner sets. Consistent attendance helps keep your treatment on track and on schedule.
Once active aligner treatment is complete, a retainer is provided to maintain your results. Without retention, teeth have a natural tendency to drift over time. Your dentist will advise on the type and wearing schedule recommended for your case.
